Shipping

Delivery 
We aim to dispatch all orders within a maximum of 3 working days. If any items are not in stock or there will be any delay, we will inform you as soon as possible. 

Availability 
We update the availability of stock on a daily basis. In the rare event of a problem with availability of a product, we will contact you. You may then wish to cancel the order or wait until the item becomes available. All orders are accepted as subject to availability. In the event that an item ordered is not available a full refund will be made. 

Carriage 
Carriage charges to addresses within the United Kingdom Mainland 
The shipping cost is automatically calculated by the weight of the items in your basket and displayed to you before you purchase.

  • Wales

  • Scotland (excluding highlands, islands and AB postcodes)

For all other destinations please contact us for a postage quote. 

PaymentWhen an order is placed by you online, your credit/debit card is debited to the full value of the order. 
All prices shown include 20% VAT unless zero VAT rated. 

Acknowledgment and acceptance of your order 
Upon placing an order you will receive an automated email setting out the details of the order and allocating an order number. We will email you again to confirm acceptance of the order and dispatch. 

Cancellation & Return 
Sarnau Army Surplus ltd. is a UK based company and complies with UK consumer law including the Distance Selling Regulations. You have the legal right to cancel your order for most items within 14 working days of receiving the goods. If you wish to cancel using this right, you need to inform us in writing within 14 working days starting the day after you received the goods. You must take reasonable care of the goods and immediately return them to us in the normal way. Reasonable care means that they have not been used in a manner other than which you would have examined the goods in a shop prior to purchase. 

We recommend that you use a postal service that provides proof of return postage, the cost of return postage is the responsibility of the buyer. 

Receiving Defective items 
If you have
received a defective item, please return it within 14 days of receipt. You should include documents showing your original order number and a written note explaining the reason for the return. It is recommended that you phone us first as we may be able to resolve the problem without incurring postage charges. We will endeavor to find the most appropriate remedy i.e. replacement, repair or refund. We recommend using Royal Mail's letter or parcel service (whichever is most appropriate) in all cases. Always request the cheapest method of returning the item that ensures proof of postage. When the item arrives with us, we will provide a replacement etc or refund your card for the goods & delivery charges, including the cost of returning the item to us (up to the cost of the original delivery).You must include a receipt for the return postage. 

Exchange of Goods
We operate a flexible returns policy and if you wish to 
exchange a product you purchased for another size, colour etc., then please

  • Return the goods within 14 days of receipt

  • Goods to be returned along with original packaging and labels etc

  • Goods must be in new condition / as sent

  • Goods must be returned with a covering letter / note

  • Please note that return postage must be paid by the customer. 


New items returned because we have posted the wrong item 
If we have sent you an item which is different from what is listed on your invoice we will be happy to make an exchange and pay your postage costs for returning the item.

  • Goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt.

  • Goods must be returned along with the original packaging where possible.

  • Goods must not be used.

    You will have to pay the post office to return the goods but we will refund these costs to your card or arrange pickup on larger items. We can only refund the cost of 1st Class Royal Mail or Standard Parcels for larger items. Goods must be accompanied with a covering letter or note and postage receipt.
